The apartment is situated in a lovely little village of Meriden, with great views over the fields from the balcony. On entering the apartment it was very spacious, open, and modern. Cleanliness was also spot on as well as it smelled clean and fresh too. Small touches like tea, coffee, and sugar were also supplied, and a pack of Jammy Dodger biscuits (which I didn't get around to eating but maybe next time!). The Host was great too as we had to message them, but they were quick to respond and help. the apartment was great and only about 8 minutes away from the NEC center which was what our stay was for.

The decor was eclectic, the furniture grand. The four poster beds had fairy lights in the canopy.
The jacuzzi bath is huge, more like a hot tub.
Excellent restaurant on site with more quirky decor.

Reception staff were good. The buffet breakfast was good.
Reception staff were good. The buffet breakfast was good. The kettle i the room was dirty inside so I passed on tea and coffee. The room was cold there was a heater but I couldn't get it to work. Dinner was nice but it took an hour and a half to get a burger.

The best thing about this hotel was the quality of the food.
The best thing about this hotel was the quality of the food. The menu and specials were the same for both evenings but there was plenty of choice. The restaurant was full on the Friday night and service team were great. I would definately dine there if I was a local. The one negative for me was although the stylised subdued lighting was perfect for an evening in the pub and maybe setting off to bed, there was insufficient light to get ready to go out. Room 12s window overlooked the courtyard shared by the restaurant so the blind could not be fully pulled up either. The food was so nice though!!

Nice location close to the NEC but no lift for heavy suitcases, poor expensive evening meal from Marco franchise unless you like burger and lots of fancy chips, no fridge and other issues with room 101, generally we were disappointed for a best western, thankfully the Bear Inn is not to far away who served fantastic pub food and better wine

Abismal! We arrived to an extremely busy pub.
Abismal! We arrived to an extremely busy pub. We stood at the check in desk which was covered with dirty plates for ages. No one would acknowledge us, we were totally invisible, eventually one of the barmaids checked us in. Room was nicely decorated however the bathroom skirting was all black mould as was the base of the shower. The window sash cord was dangling but the worst was that we had no view whatsoever from the window! We had a brick wall and roof within touching distance. This restricted daylight should be highlighted on the booking information to give you a choice if you want to continue with the booking or not, I certainly wouldn’t have. Although this is a pub we are still paying hotel prices!
Again for dinner the pub was stupidly busy, and everyone was stood waiting for their tables. We were supposed to eat in the restaurant however we were eventually given a table just at the bottom of the stairs. Service was extremely slow but food was ok but it is expensive. Breakfast is another story; no cereal or fruit for breakfast, not enough cups, the boiler was empty, the juice was empty, the service was very very slow. To top it all the cleaner was vacuuming around other guests tables! The place is totally badly managed so won’t be back!!

The hotel is ideally situated for nec 10 min drive into the countryside. Parking is ample. The rooms was a bit tired lick of paint here and there. The bathroom was spotless and very nice. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to make your stay wonderful even gave us a plaster and fresh milk for the rooms. Linen and towels were very clean bed comfy room was big.
Recommend visiting the restaurant the food was brilliant. Breakfast was buffet style but eat what you wanted loads of choices.
For the price we paid better than some big brand hotels. They made you feel very very welcome.
We will be back next year
Visited here as I was travelling for the Arnold Classic event held at Birmingham NEC really glad I found this place! It's not your usual hotel it's got more of a homely feel to it and the staff go beyond to meet expectations. Lovely and clean room no complaints there and a comfy bed! Freshly cooked breakfast every morning, Plenty of options on breakfast and drink. Will be back!
Really friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean and room had everthing you needed. Restaurant and bar on site for breakfast or other meals if you require. We booked to go to the commonwealth games and was impressed with the price whereas other hotels seemed to be charging silly prices. Easy to get about to the various sites as bus stop almost outside hotel.
Nice interior design, staff were all very lovely and very nice! They were all very tentative and friendly
Also big hats off to the chefs. The food stunned me, I did not have any expectations for boutique hotels restaurants but the menu was very appealing and the food quality was very very good! I highly recommend the pork belly with scallops!!
I liked the location of the hotel, close by to a wedding we was attending just down the road. The hotel was easy to find, and plenty of free car parking spaces. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and tidy and quiet enough to sleep well. Just the right temperature too.
Great location for meriden on a very nice housing estate. Room to park on the drive. Very large apartment with microwave oven fridge and all utensils you could possibly require. Nice lounge area and dining table area with tv in the lounge.
Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, as was the 'buffet-style' breakfast in the morning, and the service. Great location, only 15 mins from Birmingham Business Park/NEC but quiet - lovely garden and view at the rear of the hotel!
The hotel had everything we needed. They listened to my disabled needs thus given me a ground floor room. The food was lovely. The price was very reasonable and the area was perfect as we stayed for two nights for a family funeral
Hotel lovely & clean the room was a generous size & bed comfortable. Restaurants were gorgeous but a little expensive but the food was lovely. Staff very helpful & pleasant especially Belinda on breakfast duty. thanks all.
Good location in attractive village of Meriden - quiet . Excellent parking. Very comnfortable room - well appointed, well lit and plenty of power points - excellent housekeeping.
Dinner - very good as was Breakfast.
,
The hotel was very well presented, everything was clean and comfortable, our evening meal was a real disappointment. The waiting staff were really nice and attentive but the food didn't meet expectations.
Lovely hotel. Easy to find with good parking. Extremely quiet at night which you rarely find now. Great night's sleep. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Overall all a lovely stay.
Lovely location in middle of Meriden - very convenient for major routes to Birmingham Airport and into Coventry.
Good parking - Comfortable room and friendly atmospshere.
